Join the Awards Assessment Panel

We are currently looking for members to volunteer to join the IMarEST Awards Assessment Panel which could be a valuable addition to your CV as well as useful for your continued professional development (CPD).

You will help to shortlist a number of nominations for IMarEST awards, including the prestigious Stanley Gray Fellowship, various Student Bursaries, and the IMarEST Outstanding Contribution awards.

Why should I volunteer?

This is an excellent way to demonstrate your commitment to your profession. It also contributes to your continuing professional development (CPD), which is important for those with – or working towards-  Chartered status.

How much time will it take?

This will not be a huge time commitment, and you can choose how many awards you would like to assess throughout the year. All volunteers within the Assessment Panel will receive an email when a new award requires shortlisting (there are around 10 in total), and all will be given the opportunity to provide an assessment.

How do I assess the award nomination?

You will be provided a list of criteria to score against and each assessment scoring sheet will only take 15-20 minutes to complete (this can vary depending on the award). This can be completed remotely from anywhere in the world.
