This group identifies and appraises new and emerging cyber risks to develop preventative guidance, strengthen understanding and offer practical remedies to those using potentially affected systems.  

The group works to establish best practice based on IMO and BIMCO guidelines and other standards including ISO 27001. It provides input to regulatory work on Maritime Cyber Risk Management in IMO, the EU and in other international organisations, and aims to support improved training on board and ashore.
